About the Author!
My name is John Andresen. I'm a singer / songwriter / musician from Seattle. My instrument of choice is the guitar, and I've played in various bands throughout the years, most notably a band called High Ground. In 1979 High Ground played at the Paramount NW twice, and got a chance to showcase our brand of original Rock n' Roll, before the Seattle Grunge Scene took over. We had a lot of fun, while it lasted.

All was well until a tragic car wreck took the life of my bass player, Tony Hevia. I was lucky to survive the wreck with a broken back, and chose to leave music alone for many years. I really missed Tony. He was a great bass player, and my best friend.

Over the years I got into Computers and Recording, and slowly started getting back into music. I was mainly recording songs I had written over the years, laying down tracks and over-dubbing, and sort of became a "one-man band". I even got the nickname "T- Jam" (The John Andresen Machine) and it kinda stuck. I found myself getting back in to songwriting with a passion, and have over 200 original compositions today. I plan on marketing some of them soon, if I can find some time!

I run a Web Hosting / Graphics Design company, and I also advertise for a lot of Automotive Service Shops (mostly Napa Auto Care Centers) in Seattle / Everett - so I better plug them now . . .
